NO ONE'S SON During 32 days of shooting in March and April of 2007 Arsen directed
his second feature film "NO ONE'S SON", based on a contemporary play by Croatian
playwright Mate Matisic and produced by Jozo Patljak from Alka Film. The film centers on Ivan,

ARS SEPTIMA SCREENWRITING PRIZE The non-profit organization Ars Septima, headed by Arsen
A. Ostojic, created to foster young and undiscovered screenwriting talents in Croatia, announced the
winner for the 2007 National Competition. The selection committee with Zvonimir Berkovic, Ante Tomic
and Arsen A. Ostojic awarded Hrvoje Sadaric for his script "F20". The winner received 10,000
Croatian kunas and the right to participate as the Croatian national winner in the competition for the
well-known Hartley-Merrill International Screenwriting Prize organized by the Foundation for International
Film Artists from Los Angeles. There were total of 50 screenplays submitted for the national competition,
which is considered a success, considering how difficult it is for up-and-coming screenwriters in Croatia
to get their first break. The submission deadline for the 2008 competition will be January 18th 2008.
